Embag

Bag tipping station designed to handle all kind of powder bags, from different sizes, weights and materials, in a simple, quick and effortless manner.

The equipment has an artificial vision system to detect the bag. The robotic arm positions a vacuum-pump-generated suction system over the bag to lift it and carry it to the hopper inlet. A set of blades cuts the bag, allowing the powder to enter the hopper and continue with the process.

Embag is specially designed to be integrated with powder dissolving systems, such as Bamix HD.

• The equipment consists of movements in three axes (X, Y, Z) by means of a robotic arm and an artificial vision system which allow precise and automatic lifting and positioning of the bags over a receiving hopper (CIP suitable).

• A set of blades located at the hopper inlet opens the bags, allowing the powders to enter the dissolving system.

  Thought from its origin to be compatible with in-line CIP and designed to ensure a thorough cleaning.

• Ergonomics
  Embag handles solid ingredients loads, eliminating physical effort from operators, preventing fatigue and injuries, and maximizing powder dosing efficiency.

• Fully automatic process
  When integrated with the Bamix HD, it allows the bag tipping at the time indicated in the formulation recipe, commanded by the Bamix HD.

• Easy operation
  The process is controlled through the touchscreen provided by the equipment as HMI, from where all the operations can be carried out in a simple and intuitive way. Embag has the option to replicate the screen and the operation of the equipment remotely via an installed PC in any area of the plant.
